Inspiring People talks program coming to Dumfries

Good afternoon,
I'm getting in touch as I thought you might be interested to know that next week, Mark Wedgwood will be speaking for our Inspiring People talks programme about cycling 7,300 miles across all 204 Ordnance Survey Landranger maps, in numerically ascending order: a six-month odyssey to every part of Scotland, England, Wales and the Isle of Man.
He will share his journey to the most extreme and hard-to-reach places and the most mundane and everyday. His carefully devised cycling routes introduce us to lesser-known places, strange anomalies and endearing stories that tell of a country that still offers a catalogue of truly uplifting experiences.
Mark is speaking in Dumfries, Galashiels, Ayr and Helensburgh week commencing 25th November. Tickets for all our Inspiring people talks are free for RSGS Members, Students and U’18s and £15 for general admission, available to book online in advance at www.rsgs.org/events, and tickets are also available at the door.

Should this be of interest to you, your colleagues or your own audience, we have included links to each of Mark's talk dates below. If you would like to know more about Marks's talks or any other speakers from our 2024-25 programme, please get in touch and we will be happy to answer any questions.  Our programme of forthcoming events can be found on our website.

Thank you for your time.

Kind regards,
