DCC Letter of thanks from MND Scotland

As part of the Helen Renton Memorial Ride back in August, the club donated £410 to MND Scotland. Helen would've been riding Lands End to John O'Groats this year raising money for this charity.

Dear Dumfries Cycling Club,

Many thanks for the wonderful donation of £410.00 which was raised at the recent Dumfries Cycle Club run in memory of Helen Renton, and please pass on my thanks to everyone who contributed.

Helen had been in touch with our fundraising team to let us know about her plan to cycle Land's End to John O'Groats and fundraise for MND Scotland. We were absolutely devastated to hear of the accident.

This donation in Helen's memory will be used to help people affected by MND in Scotland, and will help fund our practical, financial, and emotional servies throughout Scotland, including; one-to-one counselling, benefits advice, a loan of our communications equipment, support groups and more. You'll also be funding vital research, in Scotland, to help take us a step closer to finding a cure for this devastating illness.
